Our group was formed because like Life Promotions we felt a calling to create a life changing experience for students in Berks & Beyond.  Individuals in our group attend different churches in the Berks & Beyond areas, and we are excited to be working together as one unit.

WHAT IS IT?

Berks & Beyond Base <18> is a group of individuals from different youth groups and churches around Berks who felt a calling to create a life changing experience for students in Berks County & Beyond. We are working together to bring Bob Lenz into our local Schools!

WHAT HAPPENS? One week of Assemblies & Community Nights where Bob speaks and reaches out to the Youth of Berks County and Beyond!!!

DURING THE MORNING ASSEMBLIES:

Bob speaks to the students about bullying and suicide prevention.

[All public school assembly programs focus on AODA, bullying and suicide prevention and adhere diligently to the laws of separation of church and state. No faith-based or religious content is allowed for any reason.]

DURING THE EVENING COMMUNITY NIGHTS:

Bob is able to share a faith-based message with the community.

[Any faith-based programs are coordinated separately from public school events. Attendance for any faith-based event is voluntary and open to the public, and is not sponsored by public school districts.]

WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED?

We need volunteers and sponsors to make this possible!!! Local churches and youth groups who participate during the evening community nights have a chance to connect with teens and their parents in their community.  Those who may not have a church and are looking for one are connected with the churches who attend those nights.  Come Join us as we outreach to our youth in Berks County & Beyond!

WHY <18>?

We strive to reach youth before the age of 18, knowing the early years are the vital developmental stages and formation of values and beliefs.

“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.”

– Frederick Douglass (1818-1895)
